Civil Defence Recruitment 2025, (NSCDC) Form and Portal. The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) is a paramilitary agency in Nigeria that is tasked with the gathering of intelligence, combating vandalism, illegal bunkering, pipeline protection, and ensuring the safety of citizens just like the Nigerian Police.
The Civil Defence Corps carries out operations across the country mostly with the help of other law enforcement agencies like the Nigerian Army, Air Force, Navy and even the Nigerian Police. They work together with these agencies just to maintain peace and order in the country.
Every year, the NSCDC recruits candidates who are interested in joining the service. One good thing about the Civil Defence recruitment is that it’s open to all qualifications. Civil Defence Requirements (NSCDC)
- Applicants must be Nigerian Citizens.
- Applicants must have a valid means of identification (Voter’s Card, International passport, National Identity card etc.).
- Applicants must not be above 35 years and not below 18 years old both for graduates and non graduates.
- Graduates applying for NSCDC must possess a higher degree (B.Sc, HND and OND) from a recognized higher institution.
- Candidates applying with SSCE certificate must have a SSCE, NECO, GCE or NABTEB certification with 5 credits (Mathematics and English inclusive).
- Applicants must be of good conduct and behavior and must not have a criminal record.
- Applicants must be 1.65m and 1.60m for male and female respectively.
- Candidates must not be physically challenged (PWDs not eligible)

Yes, the NSCDC recruitment form is out for the interested candidates to apply. The application portal is open from Thursday 14th July to Thursday the 4th August, 2025. Interested candidates are to apply within this period as late entries won’t be accepted.
