The Nigerian Air Force is one of the most intelligent and strong part of the Nigerian military. They are under the command of Chief of Air Staff (CAS). When we talk about graduates, we mean candidates with BSc, HND or equivalent. Those who possess SSCE, NCE or ND are not qualified for this recruitment. They can apply for the Nigerian Air Force BMTC recruitment which is meant for under graduates.

Point to note: when we talk about joining the Nigerian Air Force as a graduate, we are also referring to the Nigerian Air Force DSSC recruitment which means Direct Short Service Commission. Graduates from the Nigerian Defence Academy don’t go for DSSC as they are already commissioned Officers after the completion of 5 years of both Academic and Military training in the Academy.

Nigerian Air Force Recruitment Requirements for Graduates
Graduates who are interested in joining the Air Force must possess the under listed requirements.
- Applicants must be a Nigerian citizens as defined in the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
- Applicants must be between the age of 22 and 30 years at the time of applying for the recruitment.
- Applicants must be medically and physically fit.
- Applicants must measure not less than 1.68m(Male),1.65m(female)
- Applicants must not have been convicted by any court of law.
- Applicants must possess a minimum of first or not less than second class lower division from a recognized university or HND from a recognized polytechnic and not less than lower credit.
- Applicants who are not serving members of the Armed Forces must have completed their NYSC scheme or provide a letter of exemption.
- Applicants must possess a valid birth certificate endorsed by a hospital, court or National Population Commission.
- Applicants must also possess a certificate of State of Origin.
- Applicants must be recommended by at least two recognized referees who must attest to the applicants’ good character and Integrity.
