If you have read the two articles, then you might have gotten your answers for this article because graduates are those that possess HND, BSc or their equivalent. So now let’s look at the salary of a graduate in the Nigeria Immigration Service.
Immigration Salary for Graduate
The salary for graduates in the Nigeria Immigration Service is between ₦180,000 and ₦260,000. Note that this amount may vary depending on the officer’s years of service.
For example, the starting salary of a graduate in the Immigration Service is about ₦180,000 monthly. A serving personnel of the same rank in Immigration that has served for 3 years might be paid a bit higher than the fresh graduate. Immigration Ranks for Graduate
The Immigration rank for a graduate is Senior Inspector of Immigration (SSI). Graduates in Immigration start with Level 8 or 9 (COMPASS 08 or 09) depending on the skills of the officer. You can read about the ranks in the Immigration Service to see how their ranks are structured.
Graduates in the Immigration Service are also entitled to training allowance. This allowance is only paid to graduates who are still on training to become an Immigration officer. Once the training is completed, the training allowance automatically stops, and the officer will only be entitled to the basic salary mentioned above and some other few allowances.
