NDLEA Shortlist is the list of the shortlisted candidates who are successful in just concluded NDLEA recruitment registration. The recruitment registration which took almost 6 weeks for interested candidates to apply is what we will be discussing about the shortlist in this article.
Please note that it’s only those who are successful that will be published on the shortlist. So if you are not able to find your name among the shortlisted candidates, just know that you are not selected for the next stage of the recruitment.
For those who will see their names on the shortlist, note that this is not the final until you graduate from training and become a full member of the NDLEA, then you can relax your mind as you can be withdrawn from training if you did not follow all their instructions as it is supposed to be.

If your name is among the list of the shortlisted candidates, it’s time for you to start preparing for the main training as you have scaled through the first process which is the written exams. Those who are successful will also be entitled to NDLEA training allowance. For those who are not shortlisted, you can still apply for the next recruitment and try again.

NDLEA Basic Recruitment Requirements for Graduates
- Applicants must be Nigerian citizens.
- Applicants must be between the ages of 18 and 35 years.
- Have a minimum of second-class honors degree from a recognized institution.
- Have at least five years of relevant work experience.
- Possess excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Be proficient in written and spoken English.
NDLEA Recruitment requirements for SSCE
- You must be a Nigerian citizen.
- You must be between the ages of 18 and 35.
- You must have a minimum of secondary school education which means you need to posses SSCE certificate.
- You must be physically and mentally fit.
- You must be able to pass a drug test.
- You must have a valid ID card.
