Nigeria Custom Service Salary 2025, Ranks And Allowance. The Nigeria Custom Service, which in short is called NCS, is a very important paramilitary organization in Nigeria. They are the ones responsible for regulating import and export activities in Nigeria. In other words, they ensure that the country’s economy is not destabilized by the movement of goods across its borders.

The NCS ranks are also designed like that of the Immigration, Correctional Service, and other paramilitary agencies in Nigeria.

Custom officers who joined the Custom Service using SSCE certificate are given the rank of Custom Assistant and are paid ₦898,506 – ₦1,450,321 annually. Those who used HND to join the Nigeria Custom Service will graduate with the rank of Assistant Superintendent of Customs II and will be paid about ₦1,878,956 – ₦2,508,991 annually.
