We all know that the Nigerian Navy is also part of the Nigerian military. The Nigerian military consists of the Army, Navy, and Air Force. So, some of the things you see in the Army, you may likely see in the Nigerian Navy and the Nigerian Air Force. In this post, we will be looking at the rank that will be given to you when you join the Nigerian Navy through the DSSC recruitment.
Please note that the Nigerian Navy DSSC is for graduates. This simply means that if you are not a graduate, you won’t be able to join the Nigerian Navy DSSC. As we explained when we wrote about the Nigerian Army DSSC Ranks and Salary, any amount that is paid to the DSSC officer is the same amount that will be paid to the officer of the Navy who joined through the regular cadets.

The Nigerian Navy DSSC rank is Sub-Lieutenant. This is the first rank given to a DSSC officer in the Nigerian Navy before they are promoted to the next rank after some years of service. Below are the complete ranks you can attain as a DSSC officer in the Nigerian Navy:
