NDLEA Ranks
NDLEA ranks are structured the same way most other paramilitary agencies structure their ranks. That is, their ranks are based on qualification. The higher the qualification you enter with, the higher the rank you will get.
For example, those who joined the NDLEA with SSCE certificate are given the rank of Private of Narcotics. Those that joined the NDLEA with National Diploma or NCE are given the rank of Lance Corporal of Narcotics. For graduates in the NDLEA, those that possess HND or BSC are given the rank of Assistant Superintendent of Narcotics II.
Below are the complete ranks of the NDLEA, both the commissioned and the non-commissioned officers:
NDLEA Commissioned Officers Ranks

NDLEA salary is designed in a way that it goes with their ranks. The higher your rank, the higher your salary.
