Nigeria Immigration Training Allowance 2025. The Immigration Service as you all know is one of the strongest paramilitary organization in Nigeria which is in charge of visa issuing and passport. They are also in charge of immigration in the country.

The Immigration recruits who are under training are entitled to some training allowance which is paid to them monthly during their training. This training allowance is to sustain them throughout the period of their training, as the immigration Service will stop the training allowance immediately they graduate and become full members of the Immigration Service.

After we wrote a post about the NDLEA Training Allowance, many of our readers who are interested in joining the immigration Service sent us some messages requesting we write about the immigration training allowance if they are entitled to one.

First, we will start by answering the question if they are entitled to one. The answer to the question above is yes. The Immigration Service NIS trainees are entitled to training allowance just like any other Paramilitary Agency in Nigeria. Note, the training allowance for each service is different from each other. In this post, we will explain everything you need to know about the immigration Service training allowance.

Nigeria Immigration Training Allowance

The Nigeria Immigration Service training allowance is between N15,000 – N38,000 monthly. The training allowance is paid based on qualification. Those who applied using SSCE certificate are paid lower than those who applied using HND certificate. As we have explained earlier, the Nigerian Immigration Training Allowance is paid to trainees and will stop immediately they graduate and become full members of the commission.
